According to Fox News, the investigation centers on immigration documents completed by Omar’s late father when she was a child. The Justice Department confirmed that Homeland Security Investigations executed a court-authorized search warrant.
“Today in the Washington, D.C., area, Homeland Security Investigations executed a judicially authorized search warrant secured by the Department of Justice. This enforcement action is part of an ongoing federal investigation,” a Justice Department spokesman told Fox News.
The raid comes weeks after border czar Tom Homan confirmed to The Daily Wire that federal officials were investigating allegations that Omar married her brother to commit immigration fraud, raising questions about whether she could lose her citizenship and face deportation.

Homan’s confirmation came after Department of Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin said last month that Omar “married her brother to try to bring him into the United States.”
When asked by The Daily Wire if Omar could be deported if she was found to have committed immigration fraud, Attorney General Todd Blanche declined to comment.
“I’m not talking about ongoing criminal investigations,” Blanche said. “And so, I’m not — I don’t have anything to say about your first question.”
