New ‘Infidels’ Trailer: Jonathan Majors Takes On Jihadists In Daily Wire’s Biggest Movie Yet

“Are we paying attention?”

That’s the critical line from the latest trailer for The Daily Wire’s highly anticipated new action thriller, “Run Hide Fight: Infidels.”

The newest teaser trailer has it all: blue-haired protesters screeching about civil rights, normal students asking what a campus protest is even about, administrators debating free speech, and then the major action shots after the Islamic terrorists carry out their plot.

The subject matter couldn’t be more timely. A follow-up to the hit 2020 action film “Run Hide Fight” — which dealt with a school shooting — takes place on a college campus that has been taken over by violent terrorists in a situation that’s chillingly true to life.

Jonathan Majors stars as Captain Clay Saunders, a retired Delta Force soldier who is on campus to promote his new book. Radical Islamic terrorists stage a violent attack, co-opting a hapless group of campus protesters, to try to stop Saunders from spreading his warning against the rise of Islam in America.

The terrorists take over the campus. “There is no God but Allah,” one of them insists while his henchmen press their boots on the backs of the hostages. But not everyone is willing to give up so quickly.

“What do you say we turn those S.O.B.s into a fine red mist?” Majors says as he gets locked and loaded. 

The drama is real, but there’s also some humor, as one scene in the trailer proves. “You need a course in safe weapons handling,” one security guard tells a student just after he shoots wildly into the ceiling.

Altogether, the new trailer offers a taste of the action to come. Daily Wire editor emeritus Ben Shapiro described “Infidels” as “a 1990s-style action blockbuster — think ‘Toy Soldiers’ meets ‘Red Dawn.’”

“It’s exciting. It’s intense. It’s funny. It’s the biggest movie we’ve ever done,” Shapiro added. “The radical jihadists lose, the red-blooded Americans win, and nobody apologizes for any of it. More importantly, it also says the thing: radical Islam is a threat to America, and we are all morons if we let it take over our country.”

Shapiro also addressed some of the criticisms being lobbed at the film, saying, “If the Left is this pissed off at the trailer, just wait until they see the film.”

“Infidels” marks a comeback for Majors and a return to traditional action-packed storytelling that’s been missing from Hollywood for some time.

Producer Dallas Sonnier revealed that Red Dawn was certainly an inspiration.

“We all worship at the altar of [director] John Milius and Red Dawn,” Sonnier told Page Six, “and Eastwood, and all the other wonderful action stars of the ’80s — Stallone and Schwarzenegger.”
