EXCLUSIVE: Illegal Immigrants With Rap Sheets Tossed Good Samaritan Out Of Moving SUV

A pair of criminal illegal immigrants in Tulsa, Oklahoma, threw a Good Samaritan trying to come to their aid out of their moving vehicle, The Daily Wire has learned.

The victim told authorities he pulled over to help the men on Monday because he thought they ran out of gas, the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office said. When the man approached, the two Mexican illegal immigrants — 35-year-old Jose Esparza-Becerra and 37-year-old Juan Torres — allegedly threatened him and told him to get into their vehicle before demanding money and assaulting him.

As the illegal immigrants drove away, the victim was thrown out of the vehicle and was left with a fractured foot, according to Fox 25.

Esparza-Becerra had a previous arrest on June 1, 2025, for domestic violence, aggravated assault on a family member — strongarm, aggravated assault on a non-family member with a weapon, and armed robbery, a Homeland Security spokesman told The Daily Wire. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) deported him four days later.

He first crossed the border illegally in 2013, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said. It is not clear when he returned to the United States.

Torres crossed the border illegally in 2006, according to DHS. He later racked up charges for aggravated assault on a non-family member with a weapon and armed robbery.

Local authorities were able to find the suspects in their latest alleged crime using Flock cameras, the controversial surveillance technology that tracks license plates and car details, the sheriff’s office said. The cameras have been the center of a recent national debate, with politicians on both sides of the aisle arguing that they’re an invasion of privacy.

The illegal immigrants are being held at the Tulsa County jail on charges of armed robbery and assault and battery with a deadly weapon.

ICE also lodged detainers with the local jail, requesting the accused be transferred to federal custody if they are released. The sheriff’s office is likely to comply after recently entering into an agreement with ICE to arrest and detain illegal immigrants on federal authorities’ behalf.

“Under President Trump and Secretary Mullin, ICE is targeting the worst of the worst. Nearly 70% of ICE arrests are of illegal aliens charged or convicted of a crime in the U.S.,” the Homeland Security spokesman said. “Our message is clear: if you come into our country illegally and break our laws, we will find you wherever you are, we will arrest you, and we will deport you.”
