Vice President JD Vance offered voters a blunt choice Thursday, arguing that Americans who want \u201csafety and security and prosperity\u201d should choose Republicans over Democrats in November.<\/span><\/p>\n

Daily Wire White House Correspondent Mary Margaret Olohan asked Vance during the White House press briefing to give his \u201celevator pitch\u201d for why Americans should support Republicans in the midterms. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cDo you want to live in a country that has safety and security and prosperity?\u201d Vance said. \u201cIf the answer is yes, and I think most Americans do, then vote for congressional Republicans over congressional Democrats on every single issue.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Vance, who leads the White House task force targeting government fraud, began by pointing to the administration\u2019s efforts to crack down on waste and fraud in federal benefit programs. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe Democrats have taken the side of fraudsters, of criminals, and of far-left interest groups over the side of the American people,\u201d Vance said.<\/span><\/p>\n

He argued that Republican efforts to reduce fraud in Medicaid and food stamp programs are ultimately aimed at ensuring benefits reach the people who are supposed to receive them while protecting taxpayers. <\/span><\/p>\n
