Matt Grossmann, a political scientist at Michigan State University, told CBS News that he didn\u2019t believe a deleted tweet or two would destroy El-Sayed\u2019s campaign \u2014 but the real threat from such tweets was that they\u2019d bolster the overall perception that the candidate\u2019s views were too extreme.<\/p>\n
