Eight missing children were safely recovered last week during a multi-agency operation led by Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.\u2019s Department of Health and Human Services (HSS) and state officials in Arkansas.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Operation HOPE Arkansas began on August 18 and brought together HHS, Arkansas State Police, the Arkansas Department of Human Services Division of Children and Family Services, and other law enforcement and child-welfare partners.<\/span><\/p>\n

The operation began with four reported cases of missing foster children in Arkansas, with officials recovering three of them on the operation\u2019s first day. Investigators responded to six additional cases that emerged during the four-day effort.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In total, the operation involved 10 missing children, eight of whom were safely recovered or located, including two Colorado foster children found in Arkansas.
