Anthony\u2019s family raised over $600,000 after the murder.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cYou never once admitted or took accountability. You tried to play victim.\u2029The real victim is the one who died, not the one who shoved a knife in his chest,\u201d he added. \u201cI come to pray with you and show the world we can close the gap of this unbelievable racial divide. Metcalf was referring to how he was turned away from a press conference hosted by the Anthony family after the killing.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

He gave his thoughts on the trial, the racial issues at play during the trial, and his emotions about the lengthy ordeal.\u00a0Anthony\u2019s parents, Andrew Anthony and Kayla Hayles, blamed the conviction and sentencing of their son on racism in a recent interview with CBS.\u201cDrew Anthony. Kayla. You\u2019re cowards. You wouldn\u2019t even show up for your son\u2019s sentencing or victim\u2019s statement impacts. You abandoned your kid. You left him there. I guess he\u2019s no more use to you because you can\u2019t get any more GoFundMe money or [GiveSendGo] money. You are grifters. You should be ashamed of yourself,\u201d he said. \u201cYou raised that child, and I swear to God, CPS should come check on those other three that you still have.\u201dAnthony\u2019s family raised over $600,000 after the murder.\u00a0\u201cYou never once admitted or took accountability. You tried to play victim.\u2029The real victim is the one who died, not the one who shoved a knife in his chest,\u201d he added. \u201cI come to pray with you and show the world we can close the gap of this unbelievable racial divide. And what\u2019d you do? Widen the gap even further.\u201dMetcalf was referring to how he was turned away from a press conference hosted by the Anthony family after the killing.\u00a0\u201cI feel sorry for that young man,\u201d Metcalf said of Anthony. \u201cHe\u2019s fixing to live a living hell. Not that he doesn\u2019t deserve it. Yes, he does. But I\u2019m human. And I\u2019m sorry. I don\u2019t wish harm or ill will on anyone.\u2029It\u2019s not the Christian thing to do, man. It\u2019s not the way I was raised. It\u2019s not what I was taught. I don\u2019t know if it\u2019s right or wrong. I just know it is what it is.\u201dMetcalf also commented on the racial politics at play in the case. Leftist activists claim that Anthony was only convicted because he was black and have complained that there were no black jurors.\u00a0\u201cBecause you can\u2019t be unbiased, you dumb sh*ts. If you answer the question, \u2018I can\u2019t send a black man to jail because he\u2019s black,\u2019 they\u2019re not getting on the jury. You\u2019re so unintelligent, you can\u2019t even fill out a form correctly,\u201d Metcalf said. \u201cYou don\u2019t even know who your f*cking daddy is because 78% of you don\u2019t have your father in the home anymore. You got baby mamas running around with eight kids so they can get EBT cards to feed you all.\u2029You think I\u2019m being racist? No, I\u2019m being real, because [it\u2019s not] only black people. White people do the same sh*t. \u2029I\u2019ll call them out just as hard as I\u2019ll call you out.\u201dMetcalf also said that he raised his sons not to judge people by the color of their skin.\u00a0\u201cWe don\u2019t see color. We\u2019re not racist. We have friends of all diversities, nationality, ethnicities. It doesn\u2019t matter,\u201d he said. \u2018Justice doesn\u2019t see color. Hate doesn\u2019t see color. Love doesn\u2019t see color.\u201dHe also said he never wanted race to be part of the trial.\u201cFrom day one, I said this was never about race. Please, don\u2019t make it about race and don\u2019t politicize it. And what did you do? You chose both. The race card, black fatigue. It\u2019s real. I\u2019m sorry.\u2029You have embarrassed your own culture and race. Don\u2019t get me wrong.\u2029We got a lot of [white] people that embarrass the sh*t out of me too. But you guys, you got a patent on that sh*t. And the only people who\u2019re going to change it\u2029are you. Don\u2019t blame the white person \u2019cause we can\u2019t change it. We all have equal rights,\u201d he added.\u00a0At one point during the stream, he referred to Anthony as a \u201cwatermelon felon\u201d while mocking the activists who have tried to make the case about race.\u00a0\u201cLet me make something racist up so \u2026 go viral. How about \u2018watermelon felon?\u2019 \u2029How\u2019s that one strike you?\u201d he said. \u201cI hope he enjoyed his first night in his cell last night because he\u2019s going to have many nights to think about what the f*ck he did. I forgave him, so I don\u2019t carry the hate and the anger.\u201dThe interview with Fields was the first after a gag order ended after the trial wrapped up on Tuesday.\u00a0\u201cJeff Metcalf was given the floor without interruption.
