Gunfire erupted near some of the university\u2019s dormitories in Chesterfield County around 1:30 a.m. ET, WTVR CBS 6 reported. When police arrived, they found five people suffering from gunshot wounds. One victim was initially treated for life-threatening wounds and was later upgraded to critical condition. The other four victims appear to have suffered minor graze wounds.<\/p>\n

In a post on social media, university officials said that the shooting involves \u201cmultiple suspects.\u201d<\/p>\n
