The attack took place in the French city of Toulouse on Monday. Mayor Jean-Luc Moudenc said the officers were attacked with a bladed weapon while on duty on Rue d\u2019Austerlitz in the city\u2019s Wilson district. He said the attacker \u201cmade statements of a terrorist nature.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe two officers were taken to Rangueil University Hospital. The perpetrator was quickly arrested,\u201d Moudenc said, without providing further details.<\/p>\n
