The Trump administration\u2019s deportation campaign came for a former NFL player accused of several crimes, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) said Saturday.<\/p>\n

Former Indianapolis Colts linebacker Daniel Ogama Adongo, 37, who hails from Kenya, had multiple arrests in Indiana going back nine years before an immigration judge ultimately ordered him deported on March 23, 2026, according to ICE. The agency deported him on June 20.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis dangerous individual was clearly a threat to the community, which is now safer since he\u2019s been removed,\u201d ICE Chicago Assistant Field Office Director Douglas Thompson said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThose who violate immigration law are held equally accountable, including former professional athletes,\u201d Thompson added.<\/p>\n
