\u201cHow long do you plan to put up with that Kash Patel character?\u201d Whitehouse asked Blanche. \u201cAre you good with his airplane jaunts, are you confident he\u2019s not drinking on the job, are you sure none of his travel is a pretext for vacation activities like snorkeling, Olympics, and visiting girlfriends, are you sure he knows what he\u2019s doing, do you vouch for him, are you willing to look at whether he lied to this committee?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThat is an extraordinarily obnoxious question, senator,\u201d Blanche responded. \u201cI have full faith in Director Patel <\/span>and the work that he\u2019s doing every day.\u201d<\/p>\n

Responding to another Democrat later in the hearing, Blanche said Patel does not have a \u201cdrinking problem,\u201d nor is there a \u201cmorale\u201d problem at the FBI.<\/p>\n
